Just what is a "cover"?
A cover is a new rendition of a song that was previously recorded, and commercially released, by another band. Many bands have "covered" the Beatles song "Let It Be" over the years, from the more obscure to the extremely famous, here are a few you may have heard of:

04) Bon Jovi – American lead singer, and band named after him. Band formed in 1983.

06) Ray Charles – American musician born Ray Charles Robinson on September 23, 1930. He died on June 10, 2004. Named #10 on the Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Artists of All Time".

09) Elvis Costello – English singer/songwriter born Declan Patrick MacManus on August 25, 1954.
10) John Denver – American country music/folk singer/songwriter born on December 31, 1943. He died on October 12, 1997. He was one of the most popular acoustic artists of the 1970s.

12) Tennessee Ernie Ford – American recording artist and television host born Ernest Jennings Ford on February 13, 1919. He died on October 17, 1991.
13) Aretha Franklin – American singer, songwriter and pianist born Aretha Louise Franklin on March 25, 1942. Commonly known as the "Queen of Soul". In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Aretha #1 on their list of "The Greatest Singers of All Time".
14) Guns N' Roses – American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. They have sold over 100 million albums worldwide.
15) Tom Jones – Welsh singer born Thomas Jones Woodward on June 7, 1940. Since 1965 he has sold over 100 million records.
